From Rt. 287 North

  1. 287 North to exit 55 (Wanaque/Pompton Lakes exit).
  2. At the bottom of the ramp, make right.
  3. Go under overpass and make left at first light.
  4. Once you past the food store, on your right, there will be a Burger King about 50ft down on your left. Make a left onto a small driveway that runs along the left side of the Burger King (Susquehenna Ave). (There should be a sign for Elks). If you pass the burger king you have gone too far.
  5. Wind around and follow the road up to the very top of the steep hill.

From Garden State Parkway North

  1. Take GS Parkway North to Route 3 West.
  2. Take Route 3 West to Route 46 West.
  3. Take Route 46 West to Route 23 North.
  4. Take Route 23 North to Route 287 North.
  5. Follow Rt. 287 North Directions above.

From Route 3 West

  1. Take Route 3 West to Route 46 West.
  2. Take Route 46 West to Route 23 North.

From 280 (Newark Area)

  1. Take 280 West to Garden State Parkway North.

From Rt. 80 West

  1. Take Rt. 80 through Stroudsburg to Rt. 209 South (Exit 304).
  2. Rt. 209 South joins Rt. 33.
  3. Be careful here: Stay on Rt. 209 South, by exiting at the Rt. 209 South (Brodheadsville, Lehighton) exit on the right.
  4. Rt. 209 South goes into Brodheadsville.
  5. Bear to the right hand onto Rt. 115 North and go through Village of Effort.
  6. Go three miles past the Effort Diner.
  7. Pass Heckman's Orchard on the left and go approx ¼ mile and make a left onto Jonas Rd. Mount Effort Shopping Center will be on the right. (Landmarks are Sunoco Station and car wash).
  8. Go 1.2 miles and make right onto Ziegler Rd. at bottom of hill.
  9. Camp is at the end of Zielger Rd.

From Rt. 80 West

  1. Take Rt. 80 West to Exit 19 ("Hackettstown/Andover").
  2. Turn LEFT at the end of the ramp onto Rt. 517.
  3. Drive 5 miles into Hackettstown.
  4. At the traffic light turn RIGHT onto Main St. / Rt. 46.
  5. Drive 1 mile to Russling Rd. (Best Fruit Farm is on the right).
  6. Turn LEFT onto Russling Rd., going up the hill.
  7. Drive 2.1 miles and turn LEFT onto Mt. Bethel Rd.
  8. Drive 1000 feet to were the road turns sharply. Proceed straight ahead onto O'Brian Rd.
    (There is a large Camp Merryheart sign on this corner).
  9. Turn left into the camp driveway. Follow the signs for Camp New Day.

From Garden State Parkway North

  1. Take GS Parkway to Exit 145 ("Rt. 280 West"), and get onto Rt. 280 West.
  2. Take Rt. 280 West to Rt. 80 West Exit (at the very end of Rt. 280 West), and get onto Rt. 80 West.
  3. Follow Rt. 80 West Directions above.

From Garden State Parkway South

  1. Take GS Parkway South to Rt. 80 West Exit, and get onto Rt. 80 West.
  2. Follow Rt. 80 West Directions above.

From Rt. 3 West

  1. Take Rt. 3 West and merge onto Rt. 46 West.
  2. Take Rt. 46 West to Rt. 80 West Exit, and get onto Rt. 80 West.

  1. Take Rt. 46 West to Rt. 80 West Exit, and get onto Rt. 80 West.

From Rt. 280 East

  1. Take 280 East to exit for Mt. Pleasant Ave.
  2. Make a Right onto Mount Pleasant Ave.
  3. Go to the 1st light and make a LEFT onto Gregory Ave.
  4. Go 1.3 miles to South Orange.
  5. Make a LEFT onto South Orange Ave.
  6. Go to the base of the hill and make a LEFT at the light onto N. Ridgewood Rd.
  7. The first road on the right is Mead. Go 1 ½ blocks and turn into the tennis courts area.
  8. Go into the Baird Center if we are not outside.

From Rt. 280 West

  1. Take 280 West to exit 10.
  2. Make a LEFT at 1st Light onto Northfield Ave.
  3. Go 3 Lights and make a LEFT onto Gregory Ave.
  4. Go 1.3 miles to South Orange.
  5. Make a LEFT onto South Orange Ave.
  6. Go to the base of the hill and make a LEFT at the light onto N. Ridgewood Rd.
  7. The first road on the right is Mead. Go 1 ½ blocks and turn into the tennis courts area.
  8. Go into the Baird Center if we are not outside.

From Rt. 3 East

  1. Take Rt 3 East to exit for "Ridge Road".
  2. At the exit ramp, merge to the LEFT, onto Rutherford Ave.
  3. Go to the 1st light and make a RIGHT onto Ridge Road.
  4. Follow Ridge Road through Lyndhurst into North Arlington. When you are in North Arlington you will pass a large cemetery on the left, then you'll pass North Arlington High School and the Public Library.
  5. Make a LEFT at the street by the Public Library and Dunkin Donuts (Beaver Avenue).
  6. Go 1 block to Legion Place and make a RIGHT, which takes you into the QP parking lot.

From GS Parkway North or South

  1. Take GS Parkway to "Rt. 3 East" Exit, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 46 East

  1. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 23 South

  1. Take 23 South to the Rt 46 East exit and get onto Rt 46 East.
  2. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.

From Rt. 23 North

  1. Take Rt. 23 North and get off at the "Black Oak Ridge Road" Exit (immediately following the Licoln-Mercury of Wayne dealership on the Right).
  2. At the light at the end of the exit ramp, make a LEFT onto Black Oak Ridge Road.
  3. Take Black Oak Ridge Road all the way to the end and make a LEFT onto Hamburg Turnpike.
  4. Shortly after CVS, make a RIGHT at a light onto Ramapo Ave (there is a gas station on the corner).
  5. Make the Third LEFT onto Pompton Ave.
  6. St. Mary's Church is all the way at the end of Pompton Ave, on the Right. The Basement Hall is along the Right wall of the church.

From Garden State Parkway North

  1. Take GS Parkway North to Route 3 West.
  2. Take Route 3 West to Route 46 West.
  3. Take Route 46 West to Route 23 North.
  4. Follow Rt. 23 North Directions above.

From Route 3 West

  1. Take Rt 3 East to exit for "Ridge Road".
  2. At the exit ramp, merge to the LEFT, onto Rutherford Ave.
  3. Go to the 1st light and make a RIGHT onto Ridge Road.
  4. Follow Ridge Road through Lyndhurst and North Arlington, into Kearny. Ridge Road becomes Kearny Ave.
  5. St. Stephen’s Church will be on your left, on the corner of Kearny Ave and Washington Ave.
  • Enter through the Washington Ave side double doors. Go downstairs.

From GS Parkway North or South

  1. Take GS Parkway to "Rt. 3 East" Exit, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 46 East

  1. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 23 South

  1. Take 23 South to the Rt 46 East exit and get onto Rt 46 East.
  2. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.

North Arlington Knights of Columbus

From Rt. 3 East

  1. Take Rt 3 East to exit for "Riverside Ave".
  2. At the exit ramp, merge to the RIGHT, onto Rutherford Ave.
  3. Go to the end of the road and make a LEFT onto Riverside Ave.
  4. Follow Riverside Ave through Lyndhurst into North Arlington for 1.8 miles (in North Arlington the name changes to River Road).
  5. The North Arlington Knights of Columbus will come up on your Left side. Pull into the parking lot, or find parking on the side street.

From GS Parkway North or South

  1. Take GS Parkway to "Rt. 3 East" Exit, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 46 East

  1. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 23 South

  1. Take 23 South to the Rt 46 East exit and get onto Rt 46 East.
  2. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  3. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.


Kearny CYO Center (Boystown)

From Rt. 3 East

  1. Take Rt 3 East to exit for "Riverside Ave".
  2. At the exit ramp, merge to the RIGHT, onto Rutherford Ave.
  3. Go to the end of the road and make a LEFT onto Riverside Ave.
  4. Follow Riverside Ave through Lyndhurst and North Arlington into Kearny for 4.8 miles (in North Arlington the name changes to River Road and then in Kearny it changes to Passaic Ave).
  5. Turn LEFT onto Park Ave. Turn LEFT to stay on Park Ave, and follow it as it winds.
  6. Turn LEFT onto Belgrove Drive. The CYO Center (Boystown) will come up on your Left.

From GS Parkway North or South

  1. Take GS Parkway to "Rt. 3 East" Exit, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
  2. Follow Rt. 3 East Directions above.

From Rt 46 East

  1. When Rt 46 East forks, go to the RIGHT, and get onto Rt. 3 East.
