Our clients are easy to spot - they're the ones smiling in all the pictures. And we work hard to keep it that way.
New Day Community offers meaningful respite for adults with a wide range of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Some live with family or sponsors, while others live in supervised settings such as group homes or supported apartments. We welcome individuals of all ages and ability levels.
Many of our clients have been with us for years—some since the very beginning of New Day. They form lasting friendships, often seeing each other at Special Olympics, HANDS of North Arlington, and other local programs and camps. And while many return year after year after year, we always make space for new faces and fresh friendships.
By the end of each session, there are often tears—because no one wants it to end. But the excitement for the following year begins almost immediately.
At New Day, our clients are not just participants—they are family.

Special thanks to our very own client, Adam, for capturing the spirit of camp through his lens. From taking our annual group photo to creating beautiful photo albums each year, Adam’s work helps us relive the joy of New Day long after the week ends!
