Our staff is comprised of fun, creative and energetic high school, college, and adult counselors with multiple years of experience working with the developmentally delayed community and people of various physical disabilities.

At New Day Community, our mission is two-fold:
To provide respite and vacation for individuals with developmental disabilities.
To train high school and college students to interact and work with the developmentally delayed population and people of various disabilities.

Our Clients
At New Day, we create joyful, inclusive experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities. Whether they live with family, sponsors, or in supervised settings like group homes or apartments, our clients participate in a vibrant calendar of week-long sleep-away camps, fundraiser dinners, and various special events.

Our Counselors
New Day proudly trains high school and college students to engage meaningfully with individuals across a range of developmental and physical disabilities. Our counselors receive hands-on guidance in leadership, daily living support, and event coordination to help create safe, empowering, and memorable experiences for our clients. They are the heart of our programming—bringing compassion, energy, and dedication to every event.

Behind every New Day event is a team of experienced directors and senior staff who work together to shape the vision and spirit of our community. Drawing on 30 to 50+ years of experience in camp leadership, they focus on big-picture planning, safety, and program development. Their collaborative, non-hierarchical approach keeps New Day adaptable, mission-driven, and centered on the people we serve.
