Our Counselors are the coal that keep the New Day train running

( …if New Day were a train…and in the 1800s …)

Our amazing team of volunteers is comprised of fun, creative, and energetic high school students, college students, and adults from a wide range of careers. Many bring years of experience working with and supporting individuals with developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities— and most importantly, they bring big hearts and even bigger camp spirit!

Counselor Roles:

New Counselors can serve as:

• One-on-one Counselors

• Lifeguards

• Medical Staff (Licensed)

Returning Counselors may take on roles such as:

• One-on-one Counselors

• Head Counselors (18+)

• Lifeguards

• Medical Staff (Licensed)

• Kitchen Staff

• Activities Coordinators

• Arts & Crafts Coordinators

• Cleaning Crew
